Welcome to Yeates Tree of Life Counselling Ltd. A tree represents connection from the roots to the branches to the very tips of the leaves. Connection exists in the relationships we build with others in our families and friendships. This connection exists in the therapeutic relationship. The tree of life symbolises personal growth, growing branches of knowledge through the leaves of experiences. The tree represents strength in the challenges we face and stability in our everyday decisions. Calmness is shown in the subtle movements of the tree. Nature’s revival of new growth is equivalent to the growth we show in confronting our thoughts and feelings. The tree shows the journey through the seasons just as the therapeutic journey exists in each individual client.

My name is Theresa and I have a Level 5 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and a Level 5 Certificate in Working Therapeutically with Children and Young People. I have experience in working with children in different settings and have witnessed the difficulties that children can face. I provide an environment where children can talk, open up and share their experiences and thoughts. This helps children to make sense of their feelings by sharing them aloud in a safe space. I have experience counselling children in schools and have counselling skills to work with adults, children and young people. I work face to face with adults, children and young people, and work online with adults. I can provide short and long term therapy.
